This website stands opposed to genocide in all it's forms, let's put that front and center, but besides waging an illegal war and war crimes against people based on who they are, Israel has banned Arab parties from running for its legislative body.
I want to hereby declare that World of Elections will NOT be covering the 2026 snap election of Israel, as a protest against the anti-democratic and fascist movements that are taking ahold in the nation. May all those who are currently struggling to live because of the actions of the Israeli state stay strong, and may whatever god you follow guide you in your troubles. And may the Arabs in Israel regain their democratic rights once again.
update: it seems that the ban has been overturned by the supreme court, this decision will NOT change the stance that World of Elections has taken. In fact, we will withold from covering Israel from this point on until World of Elections determines that it is morally appropriate to resume coverage.
